12:30pm Seema Bhattessa

Beyond Words: The Human-Animal Bond, the Biofield & Its Power in Training, Healing & Working Partnerships.

After my dogs’ health declined, I turned to natural alternatives and qualified in Zoopharmacognosy in 2009—a therapy where animals self-select natural remedies without human direction. Through working with owners and their animals, I came to see how many behavioural issues mirror the stress and emotional state of the humans involved. I now research the human-animal bond and support animal owners and handlers in improving well-being on both sides of the partnership.

2:00pm Dr Alex (the Net Vet)

2:15pm Sarah Beckley Jones (My Anxious Dog)

The Emotional Challenges of Owning an Anxious Dog

I’m Sarah, and this is Bella! Isn’t she adorable? To be honest, that’s a bit of a problem for us. Because she’s so pretty, people want to approach her all the time…. But she would rather they keep away from her. The last thing she wants is hands coming towards her face, and that’s how My Anxious Dog was born.
